Colorado's space-funk, groove grass, ameritronica band plays host to the Beanstalk every year. Known for high-energy shows, infectious grooves, and inspired improv; the Beans will perform 3 big sets and probably pop up elsewhere. Fusing acoustic roots music and traditional instruments with modern technology and electric dance music, The Magic Beans are as unique as their place of origin, the Colorado Rockies.

The Main Squeeze (x2)
The Main Squeeze is a raging funk experience born within the thriving live music scene in Bloomington, IN and currently residing in Chicago, IL. Since coming together in late 2009, The Squeeze have managed to establish a unique sound and identity in a short period of time. Progressive yet sensual, this funk fusion band is always in the pocket but never loses soul. Helping usher in the modern funk movement, The Main Squeeze are a band to watch.
RAQ
Self-described as high performance rock n roll, RAQ has been touring as a four piece band for over a decade now. Their unique sound featuring complex song structure and quirky-yet-accessible lyrics has their older fans wishing the band was still full time and the younger generation wondering what they have missed. There is little doubt after the first reunion shows that RAQ still delivers tremendously when it comes to live improvisational rock.
Nigel Hall Band
Soul provider Nigel Hall is in many ways an artist who needs no introduction. An in-demand sideman, he’s built a mighty foundation of funk over the years onstage and in the studio with collaborators including the Warren Haynes Band, Jon Cleary, Soulive, Oteil Burbridge and Roosevelt Collier, Ledisi, the Soul Rebels, Lettuce and countless others. Legions of fans are already well in the know about Hall’s copious keyboard chops and powerful vocal style. But even to them, his Feel Music/Round Hill debut solo album will be a revelation – a confirmation that Hall has stepped out front and center into a creative space to call his own.
Orgone
Formed in the late 1990s in Los Angeles, Orgone remains dedicated to creating heavy, raw, adrenaline-fueled funk and sweat-dripping soul. With a core rhythm section of close friends and self-taught musicians steeped in the DJ culture of L.A., Orgone has spent the last decade expanding their roster and evolving a sound that simultaneously recognizes its roots in old school respect and pulsates with the force of the new millennium. While becoming a staple on the festival circuit in the early 2000s, Orgone has gained a reputation among fellow artists for being one of the baddest go-to backing bands on the planet.
Ben Silver of Orchard Lounge (Late Night Set)
As a National touring DJ and Producer, Ben Silver reaches toward the deepest, moodiest corners of House, Techno & Downtempo. You may know him as one-third of Orchard Lounge, the long-running Chicago-based DJ collective. The trio's all-night tag-team sets blend psychedelic house, deep bass, melodic techno, and other futuristic, ethereal sounds. Orchard Lounge has held residencies at clubs around the country, including Smartbar in Chicago, Vagabond in Miami and Love in New York. They’ve gigged at legendary venues like Red Rocks and Hammerstein Ballroom, at major festivals including Lollapalooza, Coachella, and Electric Zoo, and alongside artists Steve Bug, Nicolas Jaar, Lee Foss, DJ T, and many others.
CIA (Late Night Set)
Biography The power trio CIA consists of Allen Aucoin on drums (The Disco Biscuits, Dr. Fameus), Clay Parnell on bass (Particle, BioDiesel, BP) and Ian McGuire on the keys (MJ Project, Sonic Spank, Blurry Nights). CIA’s often high energy, high quality live performances have earned them acclaim among fans as a dynamic and explosive ensemble. CIA's style borrows heavily from the genres of acid jazz, breaks and drum n bass, while regularly steering into experimental territories whose boundaries are highlighted by a blending of genres. As one fan put it, CIA plays “down to business dance beats for the bad kids”.
Kitchen Dwellers (x2)
Montana's reigning galaxy-grass champions. The Kitchen Dwellers started picking in the kitchen and have moved up to some of the biggest clubs and festivals in the nation. Their upbeat, un-traditional new-grass incorporates elements of folk, funk, rock, and psychedelia. For the bluegrass fanatic, don't worry these guys can pick the standards impressively and their chemistry is undeniable. 2nd Place at Telluride Bluegrass Festival's band competition in 2014, these guys are out making a waves in the bluegrass community. Expect to see the Kitchen Dwellers 2 different days of the festival and most likely picking in the campgrounds until 5AM
Tom Hamilton's American Babies
Since 2007, American Babies has been the mouthpiece for Philadelphia based musician Tom Hamilton. After spending the early 2000s building a national fan base fronting the electro-rock band Brothers Past a change was in order. Musically, I wanted to get back to the basics" he explains, "Get the song right, first. Then worry about the live show and how the music opens up from there." And it certainly has. American Babies has solidified themselves with some great albums and a solid touring schedule. The live show has evolved to take these neo-classic rock songs to the next level while still pushing the genre forward composition wise.
Vibe Street
Taking influences from game-changing producers in the ever exploding Electro-Hiphop-Glitch-Funk movement, and combining it with elements of bluegrass, folk, blues and jam, Vibe Street (Ben Davis) brings a flavor that is unrivaled in the world of music today. Davis has coined the genre "Grass-Hop/Future-Folk" to describe his unique sound - ranging from feel good, blue-grassy tunes, to spacey, soulful electronic beats that can rock a late-night dance tent. Combining forward thinking and versatility, Vibe Street is providing music fans across all spectrums with the refreshing dose of originality that they so desperately crave.
Gipsy Moon
Gipsy Moon is a six-piece folk band based in the solititude of the Rocky Mountains of Nederland Colorado. Mixing original tunes with old world traditional songs, they provide a spetcrum of music ranging from folk melodys, to jazz improv, from retro slavic moods, to gipsy rhythms. They are gearing up to release a brand new album called ‘Songs of Olde’, an album of traditional songs from all parts of the world./p>

Brothers Gow, based in San Diego, CA, by way of Flagstaff, AZ, is a funk-rock-improv quintet that relies on thoughtful lyrics, deep grooves and improvisational tact to keep each show sounding fresh and unique. The band’s energetic stage presence combined with powerful vocal harmonies, complex arrangements, ripping guitar solos and the band’s awe-inspiring lighting makes each show memorable.

Greener Grounds is a four piece jamtronica band based out of Denver, CO. They quickly gained momentum and secured a name for themselves in the highly competitive jam band scene landing performances at Backwoods Music Festival, Resonance Music Festival, Highberry Music Festival, SONIC BLOOM, Luna Light Music Festival, ARISE Music Festival, Paradise, and many more. Inspired by the likes of Lotus, STS9, the Disco Biscuits, Phish, and Umphrey's Mcgee, they blend many styles including psychedelic funk, rock, trance fusion, and break beats. Their eclectic sound continues to take crowds by surprise ensuring a lively, danceable, and energetic vibe where ever the road takes them.

The Malai Llama
The Malai Llama is an artist collective from Rollinsville, Colorado. The group has grown from a musical quartet to a burgeoning community that embraces fire dancers and artists of the visual and performance variety. Malai Llama's music blends all you know about electronica with the freeform beauty of traditional jam bands and improvisational jazz groups. The Malai Llama pushes musical boundaries by combining the real energy of instrumentation with the electronic exploration of synthesizers, and samples in dynamic song structures. People all around Colorado have been moving their feet to their grooves.
Hog Magundy
Hog MaGundy formed in early 2013 in the vibrant city of Fort Collins, Colorado. Through a shared passion to create high-energy string music with plenty of improvisation, the group brings a new kind of foot-stomping sound to the Front Range and beyond. Hog MaGundy shows feature a unique mix of originals and covers from a wide, and often surprising, variety of artists that will be sure to get you moving.
The Hornitz
The Hornitz was founded in May 2006 as a horn-section-for-hire in and around Boston, MA. The group worked with many notable artists such as George Clinton, Guster, and State Radio, but in 2008 The Hornitz began producing original music as a duo. After a few years of experimenting and fine-tuning, Friendship and Stoo now create a show that is one of the most dynamic spectacles ever produced by two people. Using human beatbox, horns, keyboards and modern live-looping equipment they form large walls of sound and high energy dance parties.

With a love of shifting meters, polyrhythmic structure, evolving harmonies and complex dynamic shape, they let the music guide them to create danceable and undeniably deep music that is tasty soul candy to those who hear it.
Cycles
Throughout the last year, Cycles has picked up some serious steam around Colorado. Every show Cycles plays garners new fans. In January of 2016, the band released their first EP, “Loads Of Fun” which showcases their one-of-a-kind sound. This summer will see Cycles embark on their first nation-wide tour. With runs of shows ranging from Chicago to Portland, the rest of the country will soon get to experience first-hand what all their friends have been talking about.
The Runnikine
In a Colorado scene dominated by noodling guitars and DJs standing behind laptops, The RunniKine provides a fresh and unique sound. This funky, keyboard-focused trio draws from pop, hip hop, and jazz, providing a soulfully modern take on classic feels. Formed in 2014 as a side project that only played 100% improvised music at shows between other gigs, The RunniKine has since become much more than that. With a handful of original songs under their belt, and an EP on the way, The RunniKine is poised to breakout as an up and coming band in 2017.
